Pretty good bars. Used 32 large marshmallows instead of mini, didn't have any peanuts, used 1 c milk choc chips, and added about 1/4 cup wheat germ. Nuts may have added a nice crunch. Also didn't use foil; just buttered the pan and it was fine.people found this review Helpful. You can only vote others' reviews helpful or not helpful... Was this review helpful to you? These are addictive little lower fat treats! VERY sweet with the honey and marshmallows, but tasty. I used cinnamon HBofO cereal and omitted the peanuts. These puppies stuck like crazy to the foil but we solved that by scraping off every last bit with a spoon. I may add a little more cereal next time to see if that helps the stickiness. Thanks for sharing the recipe!people found this review Helpful. You can only vote others' reviews helpful or not helpful... Was this review helpful to you? Yes | No We don't know who you are. I got this out of the same booklet and made it for this weekend. I used chocolate chips instead of the semisweet chocolate, otherwise made according to recipe. They're a nice change from regular rice krispies treats. I agree that more chocolate would be better, plus next time I'll cut back on the peanuts, as I thought they were too overpowering. Otherwise, they were a hit! I especially like the honey flavor in there. Thanks for posting it, now I don't have to keep the scrap of paper I ripped out of the magazine!people found this review Helpful. You can only vote others' reviews helpful or not helpful...
