These were pretty good, but mine did not come out gooey, they came out a bit dry, I think there was a bit too much flour so next time I would probably cut down on the flour by a cup, and then add a little more if it needed it. I also only baked the brownies themselves for 20 minutes and then put them back in for only 5 minutes with the topping on. Thanks for posting the recipe.

These were good, and the flavours really worked together. I think They would have been better if the topping was mixed through though. Maybe spread half the brownie mix into the tray, mix the other half with the topping, and spread over? Mine ended up a little over-cooked, and a lot of the topping just fell off when I cut the brownies. My kids are enjoying them! [Made for Aus/NZ Swap]

I'm just me, mother, grandmother...friend to many and a Louisianian. My Cajun and French Quarter Italian descent afforded me exposure to some of the best of foods. My passions are my family, decorating, cooking and gardening. Those very passions push me into constant awareness with always looking for something new to delight the senses, thus my favorite idiom...Inspire me, puuuullllllleeeeeeease! ...and I mean it, too.
