Another Christmas staple in our house. This dough is very heavy, so make sure you use a stand mixer or electric mixer to make these cookies.
- Cream together sugar, butter and eggs.
- Add dry ingredients.
- Add hot water.
- Add dates and nuts.
- Drop dough by teaspoonsful onto ungreased cookie sheets.
- Bake in preheated 350°F oven until golden brown, 10-12 minutes.
