These are easy and really very good. Really great in the late afternoon with a cup of coffee. I made four modifications when making them: 1. needed to add more milk (ended up w/ 2/3 cup), 2. doubled the fruit (used a combo of dried cranberries and apricots), 3. used a sprinkling of nutmeg instead of the 1/4tsp of cinnamon called for, and 4. sprinkled some sugar on top before baking. Note: these tend to come out a bit like small scones, so if you have a bit of a sweet tooth add more sugar than called for.
Fantastic for university when you have limited money, quick cheap inexpensive and can be done without a mixer using a fork! :) fantastic
