- 1 (15 ounce) can chickpeas
- 2 roasted red peppers
- 2 tablespoons tahini
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon pepper
- 3 tablespoons lemon juice
- 2 garlic cloves
- 1⁄2 teaspoon cumin
- 1⁄2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1 teaspoon paprika
directions
- roast red pepper and peel off burnt skin.
- add all ingredients (except praprika) into blender.
- mix until smooth.
- sprinkle praprika ontop and serve.

I had alot of trouble getting this to blend. I ended up having to mash the peas with a potato masher and then blend all in small amounts in my blender. (it could be my blender isn't powerful enough). Next time I'd add more red peppers for more of that flavor which is what I was after. Overall tasty, just a lot of work for me.
