I have never made Hummus before and fell in love with the roasted red pepper hummus you can buy at the store. This tastes just like it and is so easy to make (even for a first timer) and a lot cheaper.
My local store recently changed hands and stopped carrying a 4 pepper hummas that I loved. This recipe taste so much like it that I can't even be depressed anymore. I also took your suggestion fot the homemade tahini recipe. I have have never bought tahini and have never seen it in the store adn I won't have to now. This is a great recipe. Thanks so much for sharing!
wonderful. Reduced the Cumin to 4tsp and used jarred red roasted peppers. Nummy!
I have fallen in love with making homemade hummus as an inexpensive, delicious and healthy snack. I'm always looking for new ways to make it more interesting and this recipe looked good. OH MY!! This is just wonderful! The only adjustment I made was I only used about 2 tsp of Cumin. Thanks for a keeper!
We enjoyed this hummus. I think next time I will cut back on the cumin a bit. Thanks!
very good, made exactly according to the recipe with fresh roasted red peppers. bit heavy on the cumin but I will definitely make this again, with a reduction in the garlic & cumin :) thanks for sharing!
I enjoyed this hussus. I didn't use any water and added a bit more lemon juice. I also used tabasco instead of cayenne pepper. Quick and easy. Thanks.
This was quite good, but we did use only about 1 teaspoon of cumin and a bit more cayenne. Also, we added olive oil in place of the water. It was really delicious! Thanks for the recipe!
Very good, but a tad too much garlic. If I make again, I'll only use 2 cloves and maybe add a bit more cayenne pepper.
