I love me some nuts! Believe it or not, this is listed as a main course in a vegetarian cookbook. What little we carnivores know! Makes good sense, though, considering the protein that nuts are packed with.
- 2 ounces almonds
- 2 ounces pistachios
- 2 ounces pine nuts
- 1 garlic clove, crushed
- 1 teaspoon rice wine
- 1 teaspoon vegetable oil
- 1 teaspoon fresh green peppercorn, crushed
- 1 teaspoon vetetarian stir-fry sauce
- Roast all the nuts with the oil and garlic at 350F for approximately 20 minutes, checking for desired brownness.
- Add rice wine, green peppercorns and stir-fry sauce.
