just a tad bland with only salt and pepper so I added 1/2 tsp of garlic. Now they are roasted and with a little more zip!
Yummy! I used Trader Joe's frozen skinny string beans. I at 420 for 30 minutes to cook & remove the water, then tossed with olive oil, garlic powder, salt & pepper. I roasted for about 25 minutes more, checking at 5 min intervals. Make sure they are brown & crispy. Takes as good as French Fries.
These were great! I liked them better than the kids or my husband (though they did eat some). They're simple to make (I followed the recipe exactly) and delicious. I will make again, only I'll experiment with adding some different seasonings to compliment different dishes.
Love these. will make again... I used a little bit too much sea salt per husband ....2lbs was a lot but we will eat the leftovers tonight.
I had some green beans from the farmer's market that I wanted to use. While DH and I really enjoyed these, DD didn't like them at all. I guess we will have to save this one for nights that the kiddos aren't home.
So surprised how good it was! I added a little more salt since my family prefers it. It has made the list of foods I will be cooking again
Love this recipe. It is a great way to make a vegetable, I make it quite often.
i'm not a fan of green beans but this recipe is delicious! My son is 1 1/2 and doesn't like anything green but even he will eat them. The darker the better and I also add garlic salt instead of regular salt.
Wow! Easy & delicious! Things I tried: egg whites only, egg whites and seasoned bread crumbs, seasoned bread crumbs only as well as adding 1 tsp of garlic powder to the original recipe. I also followed the recipe exactly and THE ORIGINAL RECIPE IS THE BEST!!!! Yummy! This will be a staple at my home. Thanks <3
I and my family, really, really liked these. They can most definitely be eaten as a snack! Highly recommended. Thank you Seamouse for sharing.
