I made this recipe for Easter and it was a crowd pleaser. I roasted them ahead of time so I could make multiple batches then heated them up when it was time to eat. Everyone loved them.
Excellent way to prepare beans! Yummy!
Absolutely terrific! What a tasty replacement for French fries! Like another reviewer I roasted some smashed cloves of garlic along with the beans!<br/>SO delicious...I licked the pan a bit!
just a tad bland with only salt and pepper so I added 1/2 tsp of garlic. Now they are roasted and with a little more zip!
Yummy! I used Trader Joe's frozen skinny string beans. I at 420 for 30 minutes to cook & remove the water, then tossed with olive oil, garlic powder, salt & pepper. I roasted for about 25 minutes more, checking at 5 min intervals. Make sure they are brown & crispy. Takes as good as French Fries.
These were great! I liked them better than the kids or my husband (though they did eat some). They're simple to make (I followed the recipe exactly) and delicious. I will make again, only I'll experiment with adding some different seasonings to compliment different dishes.
Love these. will make again... I used a little bit too much sea salt per husband ....2lbs was a lot but we will eat the leftovers tonight.
I had some green beans from the farmer's market that I wanted to use. While DH and I really enjoyed these, DD didn't like them at all. I guess we will have to save this one for nights that the kiddos aren't home.
So surprised how good it was! I added a little more salt since my family prefers it. It has made the list of foods I will be cooking again
Love this recipe. It is a great way to make a vegetable, I make it quite often.
