ingredients
- 2 roasted garlic heads
- 8 -16 ounces sour cream
- 8 -16 ounces cream cheese
- 1⁄4 cup milk (or Soy Milk)
- 6 -10 fresh sage leaves
- 6 -9 sprigs thyme (about 3 to 4 inches long)
- 2 teaspoons onion powder
directions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Cut tops off of garlic, place on baking sheet and drizzle with olive oil ( you can also wrap the bulbs together in aluminum foil to bake).
- Bake in oven for 45 to 60 minutes, until the garlic is light brown on top.
- Remove garlic from the casings.
- Mix milk or soy milk, sour cream, cream cheese, onion powder, sage and thyme to a blender.
- Blend until smooth. ( Note: I use a Vita Mix blender so this may be harder with a conventional blender, you may have to add the cream cheese in chunks so that it doesn't overwhelm the blender. ).
- Chill until you are ready to serve.
