This is a great recipe. Very simple, and the vegetables come out crunchy with a nice roasted flavor. I served it with lemon, and the acid helped bring out all the flavors. It does need a little more color, though, so next time I think I will try it with purple onion or garnish with parsley or something. Thanks for posting!

I didn't have any marjoram so I substituted rosemary, which was really good. I would absolutely make this again, since our summer farm share usually includes fennel. Next time I'll try the lemon juice too. Yum!

I made a half recipe (one onion, one fennel bulb and enough cauli for two) for us tonight. I was able to cook all in the same skillet at basically the same time (just added the fennel wedges in a couple of minutes after the other stuff). I served this at room temp and it was amazingly deliciously yummy. I took note of reviewer Slick 18 and served it with a lemon wedge which I think is essential to bring out the flavours even more.

This was very good. I didn't have whole garlic or marjaram. It has been a few weeks since I made this so I can't remember what I used to substitute. I segregated the veggies on the baking tray because I was worried about picky DH. He liked the cauliflower and I LOVED what roasting does for the fennel. I think I will make this every time I get fennel in my "bountiful basket"

This was a great side dish. I skipped the browning step like some others, used red onion for color (and used just one) and tried the suggested lemon, which was nice. The fennel is the real star in this - it is so good roasted.

I love roasted veg so I decided to cut out the sauteing step & just roast them in the convection oven. I added an entire head of garlic cloves & used a Walla Walla onion. The fennel is sublime in this recipe. I can't wait to have the leftovers tomorrow! Thanks for a great recipe, I look forward to making this again & again.

This was very good. I halved the recipe and it was the perfect amount for two. I did saute all of the veggies in the pan first but I can't say that I noticed any difference in taste than when I just roast them. Thank you.

Yummy! This is my new favorite way to make cauliflower. It was terribly hard to find fennel locally, Luckily, I had to go to the "city", and was able to find some at a larger grocer. I debated whether to omit the fennel, but held out. Boy am I glad I did. I wouldn't change anything about this recipe. Thanks for sharing
