My husband is a brussel sprout lover. He ALWAYS steamed them. After trying mine, made this way, this has become his favorite way of eating them. I don't think he'd ever go back to just steaming again.
I like to convert people who swear they don't like brussels sprouts with this recipe. The lemon pepper is not necessary, as the olive oil w/ the salt & pepper is soooooo divine. I use a large ziplock bag to squish around the brussels sprouts and coat them well with the oil before pouring them in the pan.
All my Brussels sprouts eaters LOVED these and they were so easy to make. Couldn't find my lemon-pepper so used garlic-pepper! Made them for Thanksgiving and my SIL asked if she could take some home with her!
I haven't had brussel sprouts in about ten years but these were fabulous. So good I had them in my salad cold for lunch today. Thank you so much for posting!
Heavenly probably the only way to make them! I did not use lemon pepper, just good old fresh cracked black pepper. These were the best brussels sprouts. MMMMM!!!! Super Duper EASY too.
These were a big hit at our Christmas dinner--thanks!!
Loved these brussels sprouts! I also used frozen than roasted in the oven for about 15 minutes. Used a little more lemon pepper seasoning, my favorite, and a sprinkle of kosher salt. Next time I think I would leave the salt out for my taste. Sharon great recipe, thank you!
Would make again and again. My DH who does NOT eat Brussel sprouts ate these and LIKED them. I cheated and used frozen then thawed (2 # bag) and they were great. Can only imagine how wonderful they would be with fresh...
Quick, easy and very tasty! I used thawed frozen sprouts and they worked really well! Absolutely perfect. Thank you.
