I made this for a family gathering a few nights ago and everyone loved it!! I have to say that it was fantastic even before I added the lemon sauce and to be perfectly honest next time I make it ill toss the broccoli with the oil and then sprinkle with salt, pepper, and garlic like i did before and then bake and eat it, it was fantastic just doing that.. although it was also amazing with the lemon sauce on it paired with the shrinp scampi we were also having, I would only be omiting the lemon butter sauce to save the calories..

This broccoli is so delicious, great way to fix it and easy also. The roasting gives it such a nice flavor. I also used pecans in stead of pine nuts as I found out I was out of them. Thanks for posting the recipe.

Delicious! I made this for our Christmas dinner and it was divine... The essence of simplicity and very flavorful. Roasting is such a great method for vegetables.

Although I prefer most vegetables roasted, I won't add broccoli to that list. However, I did enjoy the flavourings and will use it on steamed broccoli next time. Thanx Mean Chef!

Very quick and easy - and tasty. Roasted broccoli was such a great change of pace from the usual. I didn't add any nuts at the end, just out of personal preference. Thank you!

I liked the texture of the broccoli very much as same of the combination with pinenuts.
I did not know that was possible to prepare broccoli directly in the oven and I tried out roast the pinenuts together at the same time. Come out perfect and I would do it again!
Thanks a lot for this yummy recipe and teachint!

Made this last week and I thought it was the best broccoli ever! I served this over a bed of rigatoni. I MUCH prefer it without the lemon garlic sauce (no pine nuts, allergy). I served the sauce on the side as I have picky eaters in the house. My husband had no idea that sauce was for the broccoli and instead used it over his pork chops. He said it was to die for, and told me to make it for pork chops from now on. LOL. Bought a bunch of broccoli and will be making it again tonight for the family. Thanks for a great recipe!

Lovely way to make broccoli. I tasted it before adding the lemon juice and I liked it better without.

Fantastic recipe, an interesting and flavorful way to cook broccoli! I didn't have the pine nuts so I left those out, and used bottled lemon juice instead of fresh, but it still turned out delicious. I will be making this again.

Yummy! I made this for Christmas dinner. I used walnuts because I didn't have any pine nuts. We all loved it! I'll definitely make this again and again.

I served this for the first time for my parents for Sunday dinner. The whole family enjoyed it. The broccoli stays crunchy while the pine nuts, lemon, and garlic add a nice flavor. This was also very simple to make and easy to add to the oven while other food was cooking. Very nice recipe!

This was a nice side to a lime baked Tilapia dish that I made. I used a combination of broccoli floret and broccoli rabe. I parboiled the broccoli rabe (not the florets) first for 6 minutes to remove the bitterness before roasting. I ended up liking the rabe prepared this way even a little more than the florets! This tasted great. We used 1.5 Tb of lemon, but would probably scale it back to 1 Tb next time. I added a little more garlic and used salted butter. I thought the pine nuts gave the dish an especially nice touch. I will definitely make this recipe again. Thanks for posting!
