This dish will turn out best with thinner spears. If you cannot find thin spears make sure to peel thicker ones.
- Preheat oven to 400.
- Toss asparagus with olive oil and season to taste with salt and pepper. Slice lemon very thin and layer on a baking sheet. spread asparagus over top of the lemon and roast for 15 minutes. Aspargus should become tender and just starting to brown.
Yum. This is about as simple as it gets. I couldn't believe how much lemon flavor there was just piling the asparagus on top of the lemon. I'll be making this one again. Thanks Brookelynne26. Made for Bargain Basement Tag.
