      Oh this was sooo tasty!!! I used 1/4 of the recipe for the marinade on a 1 lb piece of flank steak!! I then skewered the onions and we grilled them along side of the steak. It was dark out, so DH, cooked it much more than to our liking, but the wonderful flavor of the steak still made it very enjoyable. I really loved how quick this was to get together, especially after a long day of cooking Thanksgiving Dinner. Thanks for sharing your recipe. Congrats again on your win in the football pool!!!

      I defrosted frozen steaks in this marinade in the refrigerator so they marinated about 10 hours. They turned out tender and tasty! DS#1 declared them to be the "best steaks ever". I also experimented with stewing beef cubes (I was short a steak so pulled them out of the freezer too) that I put on skewers with the onions. They were very tender and absorbed the flavors wonderfully - even better than the steaks. I used a non-seasoned meat tenderizer from the local restaurant supply and cut the oil by half. This will be a recipe that we turn to again and again. Thanks SB6.

      We have had this twice now! The first time on pork chops and the second time on some flank steak! I would encourage everyone to try this recipe! It is tangy and savory and flat out delicious! The only change I made was to sub in olive oil for the vegetable oil and I only used 1/2 cup! Thanks for posting! SB6! This was delicious! Made for PAC Spring 2010!
