This is very good, but it does seem to be missing something. My husband suggested that saffron would enhance the flavor. I also had to add salt at the table. Maybe we'll try adding some mushrooms next time. We used lobster stock instead of chicken stock and I will continue to make it with lobster stock, as it enhances the lobster flavor. Thank you for posting this.
Boy oh boy did we have a 5 star restaurant-quality meal tonight, my friends! EXCELLENT in every way. Followed recipe to a "T". In the end, I added a few dashes of old bay seasoning to give the flavor an ever so slight bump (highly recommend). And DO NOT skip the fresh parsley at the end. I am not a fan of parsley, but I went ahead and added it and it was the PERFECT complement of flavor to the dish. Thanks so much for posting. This recipe is a great romantic meal, as it is truly a labor of love! Made for photo tag.
This was a nice lobster risotto recipe. Easy to make with minimal prep. I used No Chicken Broth, a vegetarian chicken broth substitute. Like other reviewers indicated, the risotto does need seasoning. Old Bay, as suggested, was helpful. Thanks!
This was wonderful! The only change I made was that I used Better Than Bouillon - I used half lobster stock and half chicken stock. I just discovered their products and I am in love! Oh, and I also added a couple dashes of Old Bay.
Very delicious recipe! It was the end of my groceries and I unfortunately was missing and had to sub a few things. I used crab meat instead of lobster and vegetable oil in place of the butter. Also, I used half vermouth and half water instead of all white wine. It turned out incredibly though. A delicious Risotto I would definitely make again. Thank you! Made for Potluck Tag.
