I made up this recipe to satisfy my desire for a healthy recipe using whole oats which are such a perfect food source. Served cold, this recipe tastes more like icecream then oatmeal. Give it a try and be pleasantly surprised!
- 1 cup whole oats
- 3⁄4 cup skim milk
- 3 teaspoons Nesquik no-sugar-added chocolate powder
- Add all ingredients in a small sealable container, stir and leave in refrigerator overnight. Serve cold! The oats will have softened and become creamy and the Nesquik makes it taste like chocolate icecream! Sooooo good!
