This is a spread while cake is still warm or hot topping. It is absorbed by the cake and creates a tasty glaze. And it will only take an extra 5 minutes to turn something special.


  1. Mix the everything in a bowl.
  2. Spread evenly over the warm cake (it can still be in the pan).
  3. Place 2 inches below your broiler for 2-4 minutes -- just until lightly browned.
  4. Cool on a wire rack.
