I found this recipe in Real Simple magazine. I have not tried this recipe, but I'm posting it for safe keeping. I plan to use sugar free chocolate chips.
- 1⁄2 gallon whole milk
- 12 ounces semi-sweet chocolate chips (2 cups)
- Heat the milk in a medium saucepan over medium-low heat, 4-6 minutes (do not let it boil).
- To each mugs add 1/4 cup of the chocolate chips. Fill with the hot milk and stir until melted.
- Tip: Instead of spoons, offer candy canes or cinnamon sticks for stirring.
