    Ingredients:

    • 1 (23 ounce) package fudge brownie mix
    • 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
    • 1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk (NOT evaporated milk)
    • 2 eggs
    • 1 1/2 teaspoons peppermint extract
    • food coloring, green (optional)

    FROSTING INGREDIENTS

    Directions:

      Prepare brownie mix as directed on package.

      Spread into well greased 13x9 inch pan.

      Bake at 350°F for 15 minutes.

      Beat cheese until fluffy.

      Gradually beat in milk until smooth.

      Add eggs, extract and food coloring.

      Mix well.

      Pour evenly over baked brownies.

      Bake at 350°F for 25 minutes or until lightly browned.

      Cool.

      Spread frosting.

      FOR FROSTING: Mix cocoa, butter and milk in a sauce pan and bring to a boil.

      Remove from heat and add powdered sugar.

      Mix well.

      While frosting is warm spread on brownies.

      Store brownies covered in refrigerator.

      These brownies were great! I did not add the peppermint extract, simply because I like the cream cheese flavor by itself, and I use double fudge brownie mix. Yummie!
