I am having a hard time believing that these are not loaded with fat! The fam had no clue! Thick, rich, fudgey. I used 2TBS of Egg Substitute per one egg white and I used Earth Balance Dairy free butter spread with no problems. I am still shaking my head over this one and I am putting it in the family cookbook. Thanks a ton! KCShell

I've tried 6 different recipes for low fat brownies - and this is different. Not spongey. I even subbed with margarine and Splenda - and they still look as great as they do in the pic. Into the perm cookbook this goes.

Very good for low-fat brownies. They were somewhat cake like, but had a nice chewy texture and rich chocolate flavor.

After trying a few other low-fat brownies, I was afraid these would turn out flat and tasteless. But these turned out better than the ones in the store! Very tasty, this is my favorite brownie recipe, low-fat or otherwise!

When I saw the brownies come out of the oven I was a little worried "Oh no! These look like they are going to be cake like!" Oh "me" of little faith. You were so right! Fudgy and dense and soooo satisfying! I couldn't believe the texture, BEAUTIFUL! Thank you for this low fat and fudgey brownie recipe!
