Rice With Herbes De Provence

"Adapted from a recipe by Jennifer at allrecipes.com. Very simple, but very good. You can use all kinds of dried herbs in this. Try a mix of oregano, basil and thyme for an Italian influence, or thyme, marjoram, savory and rosemary for a more central French flavor."

  1. I made the dish but felt the amount of herb spice called for was too overpowering....I may try again reducing spices but I kinda doubt it.

  2. Loved this recipe. My husband wanted to know what I was cooking because it smelled so good. I bought a big bottle of Herbes de Provence for another recipe, so I was looking for other ways to use it and this is perfect! And easy too.

  3. Fantastic recipe! I made this as a side to Recipe #157375, except instead of chicken I used pork. My family loved the whole meal. The rice was especially good because normally I cook plain white rice. Thank you for posting a great recipe.

  4. Thanks Randy this was fantastic. I always have the listed ingredients on hand and they really made the rice wonderful. I served it with some grilled boneless chicken and grilled veggies. A definite keeper.

I lost 160 lbs (though I've gained back about 60 of that since). I can't eat as much as I used to, so I want every bite to be extra good!
