      What a great summertime salad! I made as directed, but added some toasted sesame seeds and used fresh, not dried, dill. It was fabulous and refreshing - thanks!

      This is one of my favorite ways to eat cucumbers. I use seasoned rice vinegar and no sugar. I've been using this recipe for many years. YUM!

      I was looking for this recipe to see if I needed to post mine. This is so close that I'm just going to say that the only difference is that instead of the dried dill weed, my recipe calls for 1/2 cup fresh herbs such as dill or mint. It also gives a choice of rice or tarragon vinegar. Thanks for posting.

      I found this recipe probably in 2005 soon after it was posted. I make it often, my kids LOVE it and so do I! It's such a nice light summer salad. Made it today because it's warm and springy outside.

      Simple, elegant, yummy! I'm not a fan of normal cucumbers, but the smaller diameter, thinly sliced Japanese cucumbers work beautifully. Very reminiscent of the cucumber salads in Japan. Even if you're not a cucumber fan (as I wasn't), this one is worth a try.

      This was really good, though I did change up a few things. I used extra virgin olive oil in place of the vegetable oil, added a splash of sesame seed oil and threw in a sliced tomato. DH loved it and it went right along with my diet. Thanks for posting!
