I thought this was OK, but it was awfully dry. That might be because the list of ingredients didn't include how much water should be used.

Ingredients Nutrition

  • 1 34 cups uncooked rice
  • 1 (10 ounce) can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 (10 ounce) can cream of chicken soup
  • 12 package dry onion soup mix
  • pepper, to taste
  • cayenne pepper, to taste
  • 1 lb sausage
  • 1 lb ground beef


  1. Preheat oven to 325.
  2. Brown sausage and hamburger in skillet with pepper and cayenne pepper and drain grease.
  3. In 9X13" pan, combine rice and meats.
  4. In a bowl, mix soups and water and stir into meat and rice mixture.
  5. Cover with foil and bake at 325 for 1 hour.
