Kym, I thought this tasted more like regular iced tea, than an iced rhubarb tea, and after adding it to a glass of ice, it really diluted the flavor of the tea all together. I think one should cut back on the water, (as 3-quarts seems a bit much) or perhaps add a bit more rhubarb. Also, I thought more sugar should be added as well. Kym, I'm sorry that I wasn't able to give this recipe a better review, but I'm glad to see others here really enjoyed the tea, and thank you for posting the recipe.
Fantastic way to use up all that garden rhubarb. So refreshing and delicious. Will be making this often this summer, thank you very much for posting it!
Easy and very good. Used an herbal ginger zing tea, and the full amount of sugar. This has a delicate rhubarb flavour which is quite nice.
Excellent way to use rhubarb. I followed the recipe exactly I found the amount of sugar to be just right for us , not overly sweet. I used Earl Gray Tea bags. I will be making this again, thanks for sharing this recipe.
very refreshing! will be making again throughout the rhubarb season yumm!
this was in a tucker shaw book i read called flavor of the week. i love this recipe.
This recipe was delicious. My husband thought it tasted too much like rhubarb pie, but I adore rhubarb in whatever form I can get it in! I do think the 3/4 cup sugar was a bit too much for my tastes. I would start with a smaller amount and add to taste. It was also easy to make- which is always good.
