  • Can use cinnamon and sugar mixture.
  • Beat together 1 cup brown sugar, white sugar and oil.
  • Add egg and beat well.
  • Sift flour, salt, baking soda and cinnamon then add to first mixture, alternating with buttermilk.
  • Add vanilla and nuts; mix well.
  • Stir in rhubarb.
  • Put into greased pans.
  • Blend topping together and sprinkle on top of batter.
  • Bake for 1 hour at 375 degrees or until done.
