Filling
- 2⁄3 cup sugar
- 3 tablespoons flour
- 1 teaspoon grated lemon rind
- 3 cups rhubarb, cut in 1/2 inch pieces
- 3 cups sliced apples

Topping
- 1⁄3 cup brown sugar
- 1⁄3 cup rolled oats
- 3 tablespoons flour
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 2 tablespoons margarine, melted
directions
- Filling:.
- In a bowl, combine sugar, flour and rind and mix well.
- Add rhubarb and apples.
- Stir to mix.
- Spoon into 8 cup baking dish.
- Topping:.
- In a bowl, combine sugar, oats, flour and cinnamon.
- Add melted margarine and mix well.
- Sprinkle over filling.
- Bake 357F 40-50 mins til filling is bubbly and topping is brown.
- Serve warm.
