ingredients

• 1 1⁄2 lbs ground beef
• 6 slices swiss cheese
• 1 (8 ounce) can sauerkraut, heated and drained
• 1⁄3 cup thousand island dressing

directions

1. Shape ground beef into 6 patties. Grill or broil until done to your likeness.
2. Top each burger with sauerkraut followed by a slice of cheese.
3. Serve on rye bread slathered in Thousand Island dressing.
