- Beat the eggs, cumin, chili powder, pepper and oil together. Mix in the ground meat and let sit for 10 min minimum.
- Mix together the cashews, ginger, onion, coriander and garam masala. Work this mixture into the meat mixture, and divide the meat into 10 pieces.
- With wet hands, wrap two portions of meat along each skewer, leaving 2 inches between portions.
- Roast the kebabs on a grill for about 6 min, in a oven set at 300 degrees for 8 min, or in a rotisserie until golden brown.
- When done, remove the skewers and baste with melted butter.

These were neat! My sons gobbled them up! That is a rarity for my one son. I also had a hard time getting them to stay on the sticks. I used soaked bamboo skewers and I think that the wood helped the meat kind of "stick" a bit better. My sons were excited about meatloaf on a stick! Then they bit into it and said, "This isn't meatloaf... it's BETTER!" We will make these again and maybe add something else to give it a bit more substance. Probably try the old stand by of cracker crumbs or oatmeal. Thanks for the recipe!

Nice flavor. I had a hard time getting this to form around the stick and hold there. I baked them in the oven as directed but after 8 minutes they were very raw still, so I up'd the temp to 350 and baked an extra 10 minutes and they were done perfectly. Kind of like meatballs or meatloaf on a stick! Cool- said my dd! as she dipped it in ketchup! lol - kids! Thanks for a 'cool' recipe!

I live in a little house with my husband and my three "puppies" (all dogs are puppies to me, no matter how old they are). We have no children as of yet. I love to cook, but not to clean, and I won't cook unless my kitchen is clean, so I don't cook as much as I should. Some of my other hobbies are: role playing games, reading, SCA, garage saleing, and sewing. I am a pack rat, but I am trying to cut back on that, and I have far too many kitchen gadgets and cookbooks.(If there is such a thing.)
