Reheating Frozen Bagels - Method/Technique

"I have a very good friend who brings me wonderful NY Bagels a few times a year. I throw them in my freezer, and I used to microwave them to bring them back to life. I tried a little something different for this past year and thought I should share it with all of you! Please note that all recipes require a minimum of 2 ingredients to post, so I included a mini bagel to meet the requirements. :)"

directions

  • 1. Put bagels into cold oven (I've used a toaster oven for this, but a regular oven is recommended.).
  • 2. Turn the oven on to 350 degrees. If you have large thick bagels, set your timer for around 12 minutes. If you have small bagels, try 8-10 minutes.
  • 3. Your bagels should come out bakery fresh and beautiful. Slice your bagels in half. If they're still a bit frozen in the middle or you just like your bagels toasted, you can finish them off in the toaster oven .
  • 4. Note that oven styles and temperatures vary, so you may have to play around with the times, but do start with a cold oven every time.
