I have made a comment about this recipe in the past but I cannot tell you enough how great this is. I do add raisins for a little extra sweetness but the recipe is great with or without them. I have left the batter in the fridge for over a week and the muffins turned out as good if not better than those bake the same day as made. A truly great recipe.people found this review Helpful. These are great muffins since they're so healthy for you. They're not very sweet so I do add a bit of butter and honey which makes them very, very good. I'll make these a lot simply because they're so healthy and yet very enjoyable.people found this review Helpful. You can only vote others' reviews helpful or not helpful... I usuallly never keep to a recipe (always have to play around with it!)...but this one I followed exactly as written and it was excellent! Loved the bran/oatmeal mix. The second time I made them, I did not have any apples, but did have fresh blueberries and they were divine. I bought new muffin top pans so they came out a bit different from your regular muffins! This is a keeper! If you want a good low fat muffin (that does not taste like sawdust) I truly recommend this one!! Thanks for the recipe Luminajdpeople found this review Helpful.
