This is a great recipe. A family favorite. A nice tip...If you want to bake an individual muffin you can fill a styrofoam coffee cup 3/4 of the way full and microwave for 1 1/2 to 2 minutes. Put a slice in the top of the muffin add butter and you have breakfast on the go.

I have made these muffins in a 6 muffin tin that fits nicely in my toaster oven, so therefore, having fresh muffins each day. One time, I did not have the full amount of bran, so I changed the recipe and added oat bran to make up for the difference. Equally as nice

This is my favourite bran muffin recipe. It's the one page in my Canadian Living Cookbook that is really marked up!

Very Good! I halved the recipe and only used 1 cup brown sugar, no white. I used Fibre 1 cereal. I think next time I will use about 1/2 cup more cereal as the batter was a little to runny for me. Or do like Bergy suggests and add dates or even more raisins. I made 18 muffins using the Jumbo size paper cups. Baked for 35 minutes. I especially like the idea of getting it ready the day before and popping in the oven the following morning. Hot muffins for breakfast was delicious.

I was just given a recipe very similar to yours (almost mine. Just thought that I wanted to add thatmy recipe states that the batter is good for up to 6 weeks in the refrigerator and suggests adding 2 cups chopped dates as well as the raisins. The recipe was described to me as AWESOME
