- Peel oranges and cut in half lengthwise.
- Slice thin half rounds.
- Toss slices with remaining ingredients.
- Chill several hours.
This is a lovely & flavourful treat that comes together in what seemed like moments. I used cognac in place of the brandy & untoasted slivered almonds. This dish would be a terrific finale to an elegant brunch, dinner party or romantic meal for 2. It is also further proof that simplicity can be truly special. I am more than a little surprised that this gem has been hidden from notice for over 5 yrs! Thx for sharing this recipe w/us.
