This recipe (as well as the one I posted called Atole) were ones that I got in school for a celebration my Spanish class was to be having. They sound very good, and I hope that you enjoy making and drinking them:)
- Chop pineapple into small bits or cut into chunks and blend for a moment in a blender.
- In a glass container, add the pineapple to one quart of water in which half of the sugar has been dissolved.
- Allow to steep for 2 to 3 hours.
- Strain and add additional sugar to personal taste.
- Chill and serve.
- Makes 4 to 5 cups.
