This is adapted from a recipe from General Mills.
- 2 cups Bisquick Heart Smart mix (tm)
- 1 1⁄3 cups skim milk
- 2 tablespoons canola oil
- 1⁄4 cup egg substitute
- Combine all ingredients.
- Pour onto hot nonstick waffle iron or greased regular waffle iron. Close lid.
- Cook about 5 minutes or until steaming stops.
These are delicious. Slightly crunchy on the outside, light & creamy on the inside. I always use the low-fat/Heart Smart Bisquick, so I knew it wouldn't taste "low-fat." I added about 3/4 cup of frozen blueberries. Delicious, and really a quick weekend breakfast :)
