My own take on "Crunchy Dilled Slaw" from AllRecipes.com: a traditional coleslaw without mayo.
- 16 ounces pre-shredded cabbage
- 1 red pepper, sliced
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1⁄2 cup sugar
- 1 cup vinegar
- 2 teaspoons dill seeds
- 1 teaspoon ground mustard
- 1⁄2 cup oil
- Boil vinegar, dill seed, and ground mustard.
- Combine cabbage, pepper, and onion.
- Combine oil with vinegar mixture.
- Combine and mix mixtures.
- Refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
