This was very good. I did use 1.5 cups of dried bread crumbs for the crushed crackers and I used the garlic A-1 Sauce. Very good, will make again.

This gets high marks from me! I am usually pretty jaded when it comes to other meatloaf than my own. This is nicely moist and tender. I think the saltine crumbs are just right and if I wanted to firm it up I would add more meat or perhaps another hidden veggie. Excellent recipe from someone who was obviously an excellent cook. I recommend this meat loaf to anyone!!!

This was good. I am really picky about meatloaf, but liked this one. Might add a few more saltine crumbs next time, as it was almost too moist. Loved the steak/tomato sauce combo!!

Delicious meatloaf! HINT: do NOT mince bell peppers in a food processor - they liquify therefore adding too much liquid to your meatloaf & it won't firm up properly. LOL. It was still wonderful & everyone gobbled it all up! Thanks for posting!

Very good meatloaf-we all enjoyed it. Used 3 Tbsp. A-1 as suggested mixed with the tomato sauce, but we would decrease that amount next time, just a little too twangy for us. Used 90% lean ground beef, this filled the loaf pan right to the rim, I put a cookie sheet under the pan incase of grease spill over, but it wasn't neccesary, it didn't bubbly over. 22 saltines equals 1 c. crumbs Thank You Redneck!
