I thought this recipe was a bit salty for my taste. I like mine a little sweeter and more acidic. What's good about a recipe like this is one can easily add a little more of this and little more of that until it's just right. Thanks for the basics.

I was searching far and wide in the supermarket for a red wine vinaigrette and all the bottles had stuff in it that I could not even recognize or with too much salt etc. I decided there had to be a better way and there was! THIS RECIPE! It was easy to make and most ingredients I had on hand. I grabbed a lemon and went for it. Thanks for posting anme. It was so delicious. TIP: keep whisking till literally you are pouring it on the salad as it separates but other than that totally wonderful!Made for the " All Aboard the Love Train" event Jan/February 2012. Enjoy! Excellent dressing! I cut the recipe in 1/4 and used one less Tbsp of olive oil, which was perfect for my taste. The amount of sweetness from the honey was nicely balanced with the tartness of the vinegar and lemon. Thanks for sharing!

Enjoyed this very much. Simple ingredients that come together nicely. I won't be buying any more vinaigrette, when this one can be made so easily and tastes so much better. I cut the recipe down to about 1/3 and it was perfect for a salad for four.
