I made these to go with a wonderful filet tonight. I made a half batch, but I used 3 tbsp of wine, because it just looked too dry with 2 tbsp. I tried them about 1/2 way done, and found they really lacked in flavor. I added Cavendar's Greek Seasoning and was very tempted to add some Worcestershire, as this is how I usually do my mushrooms. But I didn't and they did turn out very tastey, once I added the Greek seasoning. I love mushrooms, and these were a welcome addition to our dinner. Made for ZWT5.

These were good and I usually taste things a bunch of times while I'm cooking but for some reason didn't this time. So anyway, once they were done and removed from the pan I had a couple and realized they needed more flavor and salt. So I threw them back in the pan and tossed them with a bit of Worcestershire sauce and some extra salt... the result was much better. I served these on burgers last night and then today I mixed the leftovers in with rice and caramelized onions which was really yummy :) Made for ZWT5.

Love all these ingredients and these mushrooms were SO easy and SO delicious that I'll certainly be making them like this again and again! A great blend of flavours. I did add some freshly ground black pepper and some thyme, and I used fresh garlic. Made for Ali Baba's Babes for ZWT 5.

These were ok, a bit unrefined tasting. I don't know if they would be better with a different red wine . I used Vina Salceda Rioja from Spain. I used fresh garlic and a few garlic granules, they also needed salt and pepper. I will try them again later with a different wine to see if it improves them for me. Thanks for sharing your recipe, made for ZWT 5 for the Cooks With Dirty Faces.

And a good way this is! How wonderful is this? Go ahead, try it. :) I followed this exactly, also using the garlic granules option, along with the red wine, the butter & olive oil. Amazing, easy recipe that makes mushrooms as good as candy. Made for Everyday is a Holiday May 2009

Other than making half the recipe, I followed this recipe exactly as written using the garlic granules option. Simply delicious and so easy to make. Made for ZWT5.

I used a little bit more butter and only 1 tbs of olive oil. I used garlic granules. And instead of red wine, I used white wine and only 3 tbs. It's so good. And very easy to do. Made for ZWT5

Delish! These mushrooms are very simple and very tasty. I made them as directed and used granulated garlic and Syrah wine. We served these as a side dish to a steak dinner and it was a great accompaniment. Thanks lindseylcw for a great treat. Made for Newest Zaar Tag.
