  • 59.14 ml red wine (any variety)
  • 78.78 ml balsamic vinegar
  • 4.92 ml Dijon mustard
  • 9.85 ml fruit jam or 9.85 ml jelly
  • 118.29 ml vegetable oil

  • Combine all ingredients in a jar and shake until all blended and smooth. Serve over greens.

  1. A lovely French Cote du Rhone worked quite well in this salad dressing as did the apricot jam and aged balsamic. I have added this recipe to my menu rotation and this cookbook: Book #82435! Delicious on a simple tossed salad consisting of baby spinach, carrots, cucumbers, celery, dried cranberries and corn kernels. Thank you!
