A great summer treat from Celebrity Spa Cuisine!
Make and share this Red, White, Blueberry Breakfast Smoothie recipe from Food.com.
- 6 ounces organic low-fat vanilla yogurt
- 4 ripe strawberries, stemmed, sliced
- 1⁄2 cup blueberries
- 1 tablespoon oat bran (optional)
- 4 ounces cranberry juice
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 tablespoon lime juice
- 1⁄2 cup crushed ice
- Combine all ingredients in a blender and puree until smooth. Serve in chilled glass tumblers.
This is a terrific smoothie! I didn't add the optional oat bran, otherwise made as directed. The lime juice was what made this great for me - just loved the tart kick and it's great with the honey and cranberry juice. Thanks for sharing a great recipe! Made for Spring Pick-A-Chef 2014
I followed Boomette in that I used frozen strawberries (for the frosty chill) & left out the ice! Also used cranberry-blueberry juice & then doubled the recipe to get 2 large very tasty & satisfying smoothies! Thanks for sharing the recipe! [Made & reviewed in I Recommend recipe tag]
