This spicy burger sauce comes courtesy of Frank's, and would be a great addition to your Fourth of July Barbecue. Slather it on beef, chicken, or turkey burgers. Try adding a little diced celery and red onion for a version similar to Max & Erma's. Can also be used as a dip, or as a filler for fresh celery sticks.
- 1⁄4 cup frank's redhot original cayenne pepper sauce
- 1⁄4 cup mayonnaise
- 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 3⁄4 cup blue cheese, crumbles
- Mix hot sauce, mayonnaise, cream cheese and blue cheese in a bowl. Chill to blend flavors. Top burger with 3 tablespoons to 1/4 cup of mixture. Top with roll top and serve.
