A great cheesecake for the 4th of July. I followed the recipe as written. Next time I would increase the graham cracker crust, as it was too thin for my liking. Everyone loved it. I sprinkled strawberries and blueberries on top of the cool whip [lite].

I made this to take to a Fourth of July cook-out and it was quite popular. I did use splenda instead of sugar and no sugar added pie filling. The results were not only tasty but very attractive.

This cheesecake was creamy, sweet and just perfect for July 4th! Whenever I have made cheesecake before I have used a higher temp. and they usually dry out or turn brown on the edges. The 325* temp was the perfect answer.
I served it with strawberries, blueberries and coolwhip, as recipe indicated and it was a beautiful presentation. Thanks NurseDi for this and all your wonderful contributions to the zaar.
