Chose this recipe to use up some pork stock I had in the freezer. It made some great enchiladas. I made a half recipe and have some to put in the freezer for another day (which will be great with a baby coming in a few weeks if it freezes okay!) I used dried chiles de arbol for the Mexican chiles. It had some good heat, but not too much. THanks for posting/adopting this recipe!
This recipe is wonderful. Very simple and flavorful. I used this as the sauce for tamales and wound up adding some serranos for added heat. I also cut the recipe in half. Good thing too because this makes a LOT of sauce! Thanks for posting!
I tamed this sauce down a bit by not adding as much chilies, but kept everything else the same. Made a great sauce that I plan on keeping in my freezer! Made for ZWT 3!
