- 3⁄4 cup any bottled Italian dressing
- 1 tablespoon parmesan cheese, grated
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1⁄3 cup mayonnaise
- 1 teaspoon anchovy paste or 1 teaspoon soy sauce
- Combine all ingredients.
- Refrigerate overnight before using.
I love Red Lobster caesar salad dressing. I have looked the net over to find a recipe that tastes like it. This recipe is alright, but to me still tastes NOTHING like Red Lobster's caesar dressing. Guess I'll keep looking.
I normally don't care for "store-bought" dressings but I had some leftover Kraft, Light Done Right, House Italian in the fridge and decided to give this a try. I used anchovy paste. We were so pleased with the result, spicy, sweet, creamy caesar! I just served it over field greens and tomatoes but we all ate extra salad tonight. I have to admit that the sugar really made this dressing great! I will buy another bottle of dressing to have on hand for my "new favorite." Thanks Zusie-Q! Roxygirl
