There are lots of copycat Red Lobster Cheddar Biscuits on the Internet, but this one comes closest to the real thing. Using Old Bay in the topping is key. These biscuits are rich, cheesy, and delicious. Thanks for the recipe, MomOnThe Go!

I tought these were as good as the "real thing" although I made them without the Old Bay, as I did not have any. I also used DiB's copycat Bisquick Bisquick. I love these things and could eat them all the time. I've made these again using the Old Bay and adding parsley to the butter and they are better. I also made them in muffin cups, it holds the butter closer to the warm biscuits. I then put them back in the oven for a minute. MMMmmm.

Excellent biscuits. Took advice of others and added a little garlic powder to mix. Next time will add a little old bay to the mix also. I only used 1/2 the old by in the topping because I was afraid it would be too much. But I think the 1/4 tsp would have been fine. Great recipe, thanks for sharing !!

Really great... and very close to the originals. I think I will try mixing some garlic powder and old bay into the batter next time. These did not expand much during baking so I will have to remember that when dropping the dough onto the pan, the biscuits will be very similar in size to the dough and can be place pretty close together too. That's good because I'll be able to make even more the next time - because these were gobbled up quickly! Love this recipe. Now I just want to see if I can flash freeze the dough so I can just pull the biscuits out of the freezer and bake. Thanks MomOnTheGo - These are great!!

Very quick, tasty and easy! My Red-Lobster loving daughter said these were very close but she thought they needed more garlic and cheese. The rest of the family loved them "as is". I really enjoyed the addition of the Old Bay. Had a lot of butter left over.....EDITED: I made these a second time but divided the 1/4 cup butter--I put 1/8 melted into the batter and used the remaining 1/8 cup butter with the garlic and Old Bay. They were moist-er and there was still enough butter to brush the 12 biscuits twice! Thanks for posting.

Delicious! I served these with a steaming bowl of vegetable beef stew and they disappeared in a flash! Very simple, but really big flavor. Thanks!

These are absolutely delicious! These are the real Red Lobster biscuits. I've tried several recipes in an attempt to duplicate them but this is it!!! Thanks so much for this one.

I have tried numerous times to make biscuits that taste like the ones from Red Lobster...they never turned out quite right. This time, however, I got it right!! I made them last night, and after biting into the first one, my husband said, "Baby, I think you got it!" and proceeded to down about 6 more! And I agree with everyone else, the Old Bay seasoning really made a difference!

I've never tried Red Lobster's biscuits, but I LOVE this recipe! I can't imagine RL's biscuits tasting better than these did. I like the fact that these were easy to make with ingredients that I always have on hand. The only complaint I have is that I didn't double the recipe!

These are great! I don't have good luck with biscuits, but these were perfect. I liked the addition of the Old Bay Seasoning. Thanks, Carole in Orlando

I've never eaten the biscuits at Red Lobster, but I made these with 3 of my grandchildren - ages 6-9 (that's how easy it was). I made them first without the Old Bay and then with the addition of Old Bay seasoning. What a difference the Old Bay makes. These are a breeze to make and absolutely delicious. We now always double the recipe.
      Thanks Marcita

I can't describe how good these are. I think the Old Bay Seasoning is what makes them so good. We had them with potato soup. A really good dinner for a snowy day.

Wonderful and super easy recipe! I loved it. I followed recipe exactly although on my second batch I added 1/4 tsp of garlic SALT to the cheese/biscuit portion and along with the garlic powder/butter/Old bay seasoning I added 1/4 tsp of parsley and we really cant tell the difference from Red Lobster! Thank you so much MomOnTheGo, huge hit :)
