A Sundae on Saturday~and any other day of the week for that matter! The hot, humid weather on the East coast is oppressive, however; this treat picks you up and thoughts of dancing in the barn come to mind. I served this for Saturday Lunch to cool everyone down. The cinnamon sauce was extreme goodness, and pared with the pears, perched a top homemade ice cream, almost caused a work stoppage here on the farm. Since we have 7 guests for lunch, I used the full recipe, and it came out perfect. Didn't change anything. (I didn't even change the sugar) as the fellow cow hands would probably perish if I even thought about changing up dessert to be healthier. Thanks, twissis~will keep this going for year round.

I picked this recipe as a way to use up some of the cinnamon candies I've had since Christmas and I'm glad I did. This is a different ice cream sundae idea that we enjoyed. I used 3/4 cup of sugar, which seemed just about right for us. Thanks for sharing!
