Crumbly and very flavorful. I made my own baking mix but that was the only change made. Loved the "spike" of red pepper here! These made a great fast addition to our meal! Thanks Nimz! Congrats on your win! *Made for Football Pot ~ Week One Winner- NIMZ!*

I made a lighter version of these guessing the grand flavors would suitably mask the lost in fat content. Fat Free Supposed Bisquick Copycat Baking Mix was the base of the recipe along with skim milk and soy cheddar cheese. I did brush the tops with real butter as a little indulgence can go a long way, as it did here. They were just delicious and were a featured addition to a simple Christmas breakfast along with scrambled eggs.

These are great! A bit spicy for my kids but I LOVED these! Next time I will make a batch without the pepper flakes for my children.

I make these biscuits but w/out the pepper flakes, though I have substituted Pepper jack cheese in place of cheddar at times. Just made some to go w/ soup the other night-the recipe comes from Bisquick.

We really enjoyed these even though I made a few subsitutions by using pancake mix (instead of biscuit) plus 1/2 teaspoon baking powder (as I wasn't sure about the pancake mix) and used Parmesan cheese (instead of the cheddar). Delcious and perfect with our pasta supper! Thanks for sharing!

My son and I loved these biscuits! I actually did half of the drop biscuits without red pepper for my younger children and husband. Then I added the red pepper to the remaining dough for me and my son. The biscuits baked up very nicely and both versions were highly enjoyed. Thanks for sharing the recipe!

Good biscuits - rose high, tender crumb. I personally didn't care for the red pepper flakes in these and will make without next time. Thanks NimrodCook!
