      I am new to jelly making and canning. This is the first jelly that has turned out perfectly for me! Not too sweet, perfect consistency, set up nicely, and a pretty red color. Oh, and the smell!!! It did take several hours to set up, so if you make this, do not become discouraged. It will be good on Eggos, biscuits, PBJ, and as an added bonus, making it in the microwave freed up room for my canning equipment!

      I have been looking for this recipe!!! I bought some at a school bazaar years ago and it was soooo good on bagels with cream cheese. I have been searching for it, thank you!!!!!!

      I had to make up 2 batches of this jelly to get it right, but I finally did it. I wanted to make it on the stove. I had never tried anything like this in the microwave and stove top, in this case is much easier. It gets the 5 star on taste alone. Since I didn't make it by the listed directions, I don't want to rate that part at all. My first batch didn't set up, so I have a making of Red Hot Apple Jelly and a batch of Red Hot Apple Syrup. The syrup is wonderful on waffles, so nothing was lost on the batch that didn't set up. Thanks for the great recipe.
