My 6 and 3 year old daughters helped with this pie from start to finish. It was a very easy recipe to do with them, and if was tasty, too. I was super impressed with how the filling didn't run. My crust was burned, even though I covered it after the first 20 minutes, so I believe I will cover it from the start next time. I loved the cinnamon and almond extract combo in this.

This was wonderful! I used a crumb topping crust and it tasted just like the pies my mom and aunt would make when I was a child when we picked cherries from her cherry tree. I made it for my husband's family on Memorial Day and they said it was the best pie they had ever eaten. Thank You so much!

I am a beginner cook, and this was super easy. I used a frozen pie crust, and I made a lattice top of a second frozen pie crust. My timings were a little different, it took more like 30 minutes to cook than 45 for us. We took it to my BIL's dinner party for dessert and everyone loved this there was none left over. Thank you for sharing the recipe!

Made this pie for our Christmas dinner. My filling came out a little thicker than in the picture posted and I like it that way. Easy and tasty pie. Thanks Bliss Bullwinkle

Excellent! Cherry is my son's favorite pie and he, along with the rest of us, loved this one! I used Basic Pie Crust I in my prized Emile Henry deep dish pie plate. Was ready in 32 minutes and I have to say, was absolutely gorgeous! Easy to put together. I skipped the food coloring so mine wasn't as red as the picture, but still tasted delicious. Thanks for sharing your recipe!

Great cherry pie! I used cherries that I froze in a sugar-pac from the summer season and increased the cornstarch to 5 tablespoons, since my cherries were frozen in a sugar-pac I reduced the sugar slightly, I liked the addition of the almond extract! great recipe Bliss, thanks for sharing hon!...Kitten:)
