This was really good, subtly spicy and quite satisfying. I served it with two other de RochÃ© recipes for a tasty Trinidad & Tobago dinner: Jamaican Jerk Marinade and Tomato Salad With Fresh Basil Dressing. All three were 5-star and how often does that happen?
Wonderful flavour! We loved them and will be making them again. It's the ginger that makes the recipe, livens up the beans perfectly. I didn't add the sugar, they really didn't need it. Thanks for posting!
Easy, it is! Very nice tasting, it also is! I took the suggestion & added a bit more sugar, & also chopped, then minced both the garlic & gingerroot. The resulting bean dish was a great tasting addition to the dinner table! Many thanks for encouraging us to try recipes we might not otherwise know about if not for you posting them here!
